Update at 11.19pm: Karnataka Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister JC Madhuswamy on Thursday said the Centre has objected to the state's decision to increase working days at factories, and the matter would be discussed in the next cabinet meeting.

Update at 10.15pm: The Karnataka govt clarified on Thursday that it has not sought for imposing a ban on flights emanating from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The domestic air travel was resumed in several parts of the country on May 25. The state government also said that it has appealed to the Civil Aviation Ministry to take steps to lessen the incoming air traffic. (ANI)
Update at 9.13pm: According to the official data, out of the total positive cases, 1,650 are active cases and 47 people have died due to this virus. "115 new Covid-19 cases reported in the state today, taking the total number of cases to 2,533," the state health department said. (ANI)
Update at 8.11pm: Karnataka has appealed to the Civil Aviation Ministry to take steps to lessen the air traffic to the State, with the sacred intention that there may not be adequate quarantine facilities, if there is huge turn out at a short span of time.
Update at 7pm: Between 5 pm on Wednesday and 5 pm on Thursday, Karnataka registered 115 new Covid-19 cases.
Update at 6.16pm: Karnataka government to temporarily ban flights from Maharastra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan over high load of Covid-19 cases arriving from these states.

Update at 5.35pm: "28 people were discharged in Karnataka in the last 24 hours. 809 people have been discharged so far and the death toll is 47," the government of Karnataka said. (ANI)
