8.40pm: 26 migrant workers from Odisha who got struck in Hyderabad from last few days, approached Jubilee Hills police on Friday claiming that they did not have food from last two days and sought police help to provide them food and shelter.

4.48pm: Coronavirus isolation wards facilities would be provided at Gachibowli stadium, King Koti hospital apart from Gandhi hospital.
4.45pm: Telangana CM says 11,000 isolation beds are being readied in Hyderabad as a precaution.
4.25pm: A social worker spreads awareness in Hyderabad

4.05pm: For essential services and supply of commodities, Hyderabad city police is developing electronic pass system through WhatsApp. It will facilitate movement of goods from beginning to end. All essential service providers can apply for their individuals and vehicles. The details will be put on the Hyderabad city police Facebook page by late evening.

*Update at 2.37pm: Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad closed for devotees.
* Update at 02.11pm: More than 40 marble workers, all natives of Rajasthan, fearing they cannot afford groceries in the coming days as a result of lockdown, start leaving Hyderabad by taking a walk. They were spotted at Yousufguda today as they were planning to board some transport vehicle and reach Rajasthan.

*Update at 02.06pm: Inspection by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has revealed that 16 foreign returnees were not following home quarantine guidelines. They have been shifted to government quarantine centres. Inspections to identify more such people under way.
*Update at 11.27am: One new Covid-19 positive case has been detected in Vizag city, taking the number to 12 in Andhra Pradesh. The patient (12) is a contact of patient (7) who has returned from Birmingham. He came in contact with patient number 7 on March 17 and got admitted to hospital and was tested positive.
*Update at 11.14am: Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh appeals to public: "People in my constituency can call me anytime in need of emergency. Three cars along with drivers are available for any kind of medical emergency with in 10 mins vehicle would be there at your doorstep. I request you to call me only when it is emergency so that my phone is not busy for someone who wants help urgently."
* The Telangana government has asked construction companies to take care of migrant workers at construction sites in Hyderabad.
* Inundated with complaints about local police imposing restrictions on the movement of delivery staff of online food and grocery players, the Director General of Police M Mahendar Reddy issued instructions to all the three commissionerates in Hyderabad to facilitate the movement of such delivery staff to ensure uninterrupted distribution of essential commodities.
* A day after Andhra Pradesh police refused to allow the entry of thousands of people from Hyderabad near Suryapet district, some trying to gain entry into the neighbouring state through Wadapally resorted to stone pelting at policemen on Thursday night. This, after AP police imposed a cap of 150 persons to be allowed entry into the state.
