Reliance Jio has recently announced its Postpaid Plus service that offers benefits like free OTT subscriptions, unlimited calling, data roll over facility, free international roaming, international calls benefits and more to take on the existing postpaid plans offered by other operators. Under the new service, the telecom operator has launched five new plans ranging from Rs 399 to Rs 1,499 based on the data benefits, features and more.

Bharti Airtel also offers a couple of postpaid plans that brings more or less similar set of benefits to its customers such as OTT subscriptions, family plans, unlimited calling and more. Here’s how they compare with each other.
Reliance Jio Postpaid Plus vs Airtel Postpaid: The base plan
The base plan of Reliance Jio Postpaid Plus starts at Rs 399, while Airtel’s cheapest postpaid plan costs Rs 499. For the price, both offer unlimited calling and SMS and 75GB of 4G data with data rollover facility. Both plans also come with OTT subscription, however, Jio Postpaid Plus offers better OTT platforms and Jio services compared to Airtel.
Reliance Jio Postpaid Plus vs Airtel Postpaid: The mid-range plan
The mid-tier postpaid plans from Jio and Airtel costs Rs 749 and Rs 799 respectively. Reliance Jio Postpaid Rs 749 plan offers unlimited calling and SMS, 150GB high speed data with data rollover and two additional SIM cards with family plan. The plan also includes subscription to major OTT services along with Jio Apps and services.
Airtel Rs 799 plan offers unlimited calling and SMS, 125GB high-speed data with data rollover and subscription to OTT services and Airtel Thanks benefits. The plan also offers 2 additional free family add-on with this plan.

Reliance Jio Postpaid Plus vs Airtel Postpaid: The premium plan
Both Airtel and Jio offer Rs 999 plan that comes with unlimited calling and SMS, data rollover facility, OTT subscriptions to all the major platforms. But Reliance Jio offers 200GB 4GB data, while Airtel Rs 999 plan comes only with 150GB of high-speed data. However, Airtel offers 4 additional free family add-on instead of three in Jio.
Reliance Jio Postpaid Plus vs Airtel Postpaid: The most-expensive plan
The most expensive and feature-rich plan from Jio costs Rs 1,499 while Airtel’s plan cost Rs 100 more than that. In this plan, both the operators are offering the best they can. To start with, Airtel offers unlimited high-speed data, while Jio offers 300GB limited 4G data with data rollover. Both offer unlimited calling and SMS. However, Reliance Jio is also offering unlimited data and voice in the USA and UAE. Both the plans come with OTT subscriptions.
It is worth mentioning that Reliance Jio also offers a Rs 599 plan that brings unlimited calling and SMS, 100GB 4G data, OTT subscriptions and 1 additional SIM with family plan.
