Former Team India cricketer Virender Sehwag reacted after a tragic incident took place between the fans of Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni in Kolhapur's Kurundwad on August 22. As per reports, big hoardings lauding the recently-retired Indian skipper were put on display, however, fans of Rohit Sharma collided with Mahi supporters while they praised the 'Hitman' - who recently won the Khel Ratna award - for his achievements. The two groups of youngsters went head-to-head with fists in the sugarcane field.

Reacting to this, Virender Sehwag took to Twitter and wrote: "Kya karte rehte ho paagalon. Aapas mein players are either fond of each other or just don’t talk much, kaam se kaam rakhte hain. But kuchh fans alag hi level ke pagle hain. Jhagda Jhagdi mat karo, Team India ko- as one yaad karo." [What are you doing guys? Players are either fond of each other or they don’t talk much and go about their business quietly. But few fans are mad at different levels. Don’t fight and remember Team India as one unit].

Both Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni will be back in action during the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in UAE, captaining Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

Ahead of the IPL 2020 kickoff, teams have already started arriving in Dubai and are also undergoing COVID-19 quarantine protocols upon arrival in their respective hotels in UAE.
