Anna University invites applications for research associate and assistant posts

CHENNAI: Anna University has invited applications from candidates who are interested in working in biomedical engineering and instrumentation projects.
Shortlisted candidates will get to coordinate in research programmes, funded by the central government's University with Potential for Excellence (UPE) scheme, and commercialise developed products later.
Five posts are vacant -- three research associates, one assistant and one technician.
Those aspiring to join as research associates should have completed M Com or MBA in human resources/marketing/operations/systems/finance and have two-years experience in administration and commercialisation or handling audit accounts. They will be paid up to Rs 30,000 per month.
While BA/BCom/BBA/BSc with one-year experience in office coordination is mandatory for research assistants, diploma in ECE/EEE is required for the other post.
The former will be paid up to Rs 12,000 per months and latter will get Rs 15,000 per month as maximum consolidated salary.
Appointment is temporary and duration will be till March 31, according to official notification.
