Kapil Mishra for allegedly promoting enmity between people through provocative speeches.
The complainant, Balkishan Rao Namdhari, is a political activist. Recently he moved a petition before the local court seeking legal action against the three politicians for delivering provocative speeches.
"The petitioner cited that BJP leader Kapil Mishra's acts of leading a pro CAA rally and delivering provocative speech at Maujpur Chowk and
Jaffarabad in Delhi has led to communal clashes in Delhi.
The petitioner also alleged that MIM leader Waris Pathan has delivered a communally provocative speech at Kalaburgi in Karnataka in the presence of AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi during an anti-CAA public meeting held in February," South Zone additional DCP
Syed Rafeeq said.
Based on the petition, local court has directed Moghalpura police to register a case on Thursday. Based on the directions of the court, police registered a case under sections 295-A, 117, 153, 153-A, 120-B of IPC and 156 (3) of CrPC against Asaduddin Owaisi, Waris Pathan and Kapil Mishra.
