HYDERABAD: Congress has charged chief minister
K Chandrashekhar Rao and his counterpart in
Andhra Pradesh YS
Jaganmohan Reddy of jointly conspiring to divert Krishna river water of Telangana to AP by enhancing the Pothireddypadu project capacity.
Speaking during a presentation on Pothireddypadu by AICC secretary and ex-MLA SA Sampath Kumar at Mahbubnagar party office on Wednesday,
Telangana Congress president and
Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy said the conspiracy was hatched by the two CMs during several meetings held between them in Hyderabad last year.
"When Jagan announced expansion of Pothireddypadu in December last year, Congress sent a letter to KCR seeking action. "As KCR himself was part of the conspiracy, he did not respond," Uttam said.
