TRS pays Rs 16 crore premium for insurance of workers

TRS working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday said the party leadership would take up more activities for the welfare of party workers. He asked party MLAs to take care of the workers, who have been striving hard to strengthen TRS in the state.

HYDERABAD: TRS working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday said the party leadership would take up more activities for the welfare of party workers. He asked party MLAs to take care of the workers, who have been striving hard to strengthen TRS in the state.
KTR handed over 16.11 crore premium to an insurance firm towards party workers’ insurance at a function here. “Efforts are being made to further strengthen the party which can survive for 100 years without any problem.” He said the party faced several problems in the last 20 years and overcame them.
KTR said the party leadership could not organise a training programme for the workers because of Covid-19 pandemic.
He asked the workers to stand like a bridge between the people and the government. He said TRS party offices would be inaugurated in all the districts soon. He also called upon the party workers to do their bit to help coronavirus positive patients.
