tehsil offices across
Maharashtra to highlight poor governance in the state, said newly-appointed state party president Chandrakant Patil. The demonstrations will be held next Tuesday even as the budget session of the state legislature begins on Monday.
At a press conference at the state party headquarters in Mumbai on Monday Patil said the government had failed to provide the promised loan waiver to farmers.
"In less than two months since this government came to power, heinous crimes against women have seen a sharp increase. It shows how quickly law and order in the state has deteriorated," he said.
