Arjun Kapoor to Aayush Sharma, B-town celebs praise Varun Dhawan's rap on Coronavirus lockdown

After Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram handle to perform a lockdown-themed rap in an attempt to urge people to take the lockdown seriously and practice social distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

As soon as he shared the video, celebs were all praises for the star. While Siddhant Chaturvedi wrote, ''Ha ha! Cheer-phaad “Homie” 🔥'', Badshah commented, ''Let them know varun da1''.

Apart from Varun, the video featured excerpts from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's televised address in which he announced a nationwide lockdown as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.
The video also featured a scene from British television series, a scene from Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Devdas' and most importantly, country's deserted roads amid the lockdown.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Varun is all set to team up with Sara Ali Khan for the remake of 'Coolie No. 1'. The film is helmed by his father David Dhawan and is currently scheduled to release on 1st May. He will also be teaming up with Sriram Raghavan for 'Ekkis'.
