Salman Khan backs out from Farah Khan, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake for THIS reason?
Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is celebrating his 54th birthday today was reportedly offered Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Satte Pe Satta’. But now it is being said that the superstar has rejected the project.
According to the latest developments, Salman was approached after Hrithik Roshan, who was first the choice for the film, backed out from it.
Reports say that Hrithik and his father Rakesh Roshan asked for several changes in the script of the film.
Soon after this, the actor opted out claiming that the script doesn’t suit his taste. Now the reports say that Farah and Rohit approached Salman to do the film but he has also rejected it. It is being said that though the offer was made to him but he was not keen on doing it.
If reports are to be believed, Salman was told that he is a great material to play an elder brother considering his ‘Bhai’ image but that didn’t make any sense to him. The reports further also say that Anushka Sharma, who was supposed to star opposite Hrithik earlier, would have had to be replaced due to her alleged ‘strained equation’ with Salman post ‘Sultan’. But in the end, the actor himself has rejected the film.
Meanwhile, Salman is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film, ‘Dabangg 3’ which also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Saiee Manjrekar and Arbaaz Khan.
