Sachy had plans to direct Mammootty in a multi-starrer
Mollywood filmmaker Sachy, who passed away on June 18 due to surgery-related complications, was responsible for two of the biggest hits in the Malayalam industry recently. He wrote the script of Driving License and directed Ayyappanum Koshiyum, both of which starred Prithviraj.
In a poignant social media post by the filmmaker’s close friend and production controller Badusha, the latter revealed that Sachy was only getting started.
He said that the late filmmaker had plans to do a multi-starrer with Mammootty and even had a title in mind for the movie – Brigand. Badusha wrote that the movie would also star Prithviraj, Tovino Thomas, Biju Menon and Asif Ali.
In fact, Badusha said Sachy was planning to approach Mammootty for narration soon. The filmmaker was set to director another film with Biju Menon next and was also scripting a Prithviraj-starrer for Jayan Nambiar this year.
