Ajith is fondly called Thala by his fans, and he has loyal followers all over the world. Ajith was doing romantic roles at the start and shifted to do massy films after turning into a big star in the industry. The charismatic actor has teamed up with many top directors and worked with director Siruthai Siva for three continuous films. But did you know that Ajith's 'Vedalam' was the first Indian film that was released in Poland?
After the success of 'Veeram', Ajith rejoined with Siruthai Siva for the action-drama 'Vedalam'.The super hit duo opted to follow their success formula and named the film starting with the letter 'V'. The film was released on the occasion of 2015 Diwali and emerged big at the box office. Even though the 2015 Chennai floods had affected the film's theatrical run, it managed a good number at the ticket windows. The amazing response to the film motivated the makers to release it in Poland, and it became the first Indian film that marked its entry in the country.
'Vedalam' features Ajith Kumar, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles, with Rahul Dev, Kabir Duhan Singh, and Soori in supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film which was produced by Am Rathnam.
