Rajinikanth reacts about his deleted video
Superstar Rajinikanth had shared a video on Saturday in which he was seen appealing to the public to stay indoors and be part of the junta curfew. After a few netizens questioned the credibility of the statement, Twitter removed the video saying that it found factual discrepancies in this statement and that it violated Twitter’s rules of misinformation and removed the video.
Rajinikanth yesterday evening posted a tweet in which he has explained that when he mentioned that fourteen hours curfew would halt the spread of the coronavirus.
He explained that it was misunderstood in the way that he had said this only with reference to one day, but he actually meant that the isolation has to be carried out till the duration ordered by the government. He also extended his thanks to all those who understood the exact meaning of my video and shared them in the right sense.

In response to this Twitter India have also retweeted Rajinikanth's tweet with their response: "Thanks Thalaiva for joining with us in sharing accurate details about COVID-19!"
