Buzz about Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj's wedding date

Ever since Rana Daggubati proposed to Miheeka Bajaj earlier this month and the couple’s family got together for a roka ceremony last week, news of a wedding date keeps doing rounds.
While Suresh Babu told Hyderabad Times that they’re looking for a winter wedding, mostly in December, with the dates remaining ‘flexible depending on the pandemic and lockdown’, looks like things have changed. News reports suggest that the happy event might happen much earlier, on August 8 in Hyderabad to be specific.There’s also buzz that it’ll be a grand event with numerous celebs in attendance. However, the family still hasn’t made an official announcement about the same.
The roka ceremony was a close-knit affair with family members of both Rana and Miheeka being present. Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha were also present for the ceremony. Rana recently opened up in a LIVE session with Lakshmi Manchu on social media and spoke of how both his parents and Miheeka were shocked by his decision. He said, “It’s shock to koodina happiness, their reaction went from shock to joy in no time. They were surprised when I broke the news to them. That’s how Miheeka felt too when I proposed.”
Talking about what he liked in Miheeka, he had added, “Be it her smile, the way she speaks or anything, everything just fits perfectly for me. Out of all the people in my life, for Miheeka Bajaj to be the one, there had to be something special right? It just felt right. It took me all of six minutes to know she's the one for me. It's that simple.”
