#NTR30 Gossip! Samantha Akkineni to team up with Junior NTR for the fifth time?

After a lot of discussion and anticipation among netizens, it’s officially announced that Junior NTR will be teaming up with versatile director Trivikram Srinivas for the former’s 30th film. The crazy collaboration will be jointly bankrolled by S Radha Krishna and Nandamuri Kalyanram under Haarika & Hassine Creations and NTR Arts. The shooting of the untitled project will kick-off from May and the makers are eyeing a summer 2021 release.
Initially, speculations went rife that happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna will be romancing NTR in the film. However, from the past few days, grapevine suggests that the ravishing Pooja Hegde will be playing the leading lady in #NTR30. While the competition seems to be intense between the duo, here comes another rumour which is going viral on the internet.
According to the gossip mills, Samantha Akkineni is reportedly in consideration to play the second female lead opposite Tarak in this project. If at all this news turns out to be true, it will be fifth collaboration between the “Oh Baby” beauty and the 36-year-old Nandamuri scion after films like Brindavanam, Ramayya Vasthavayya, Rabhasa and Janatha Garage.
Meanwhile, Samantha’s latest outing ‘Jaanu’ ended up as a debacle at the box-office. Despite opening to rave reviews, this Telugu remake of 96 is heading towards a flop. The film is helmed by original director Prem Kumar and bankrolled by prominent producer Dil Raju.
