Telugu comedian Prudhvi Raj undergoing treatment at quarantine centre: Releases VIDEO

Popular comedian in the Telugu film industry, Prudhvi Raj is currently undergoing treatment for sickness at a quarantine centre. Wearing a nasal cannula for oxygen supply, the 55-year-old actor released a video from the hospital bed where he said “From the past ten days, I’ve been suffering from terrible sickness and fever. After undergoing several tests, most reports showed negative for coronavirus.However, after CT scan, doctors prescribed to undergo treatment in quarantine for 15 days and on Monday midnight, I got admitted in the hospital. I hope to recover soon with the blessings of Lord Balaji and my Telugu audience.”

Popular for his “30 Years Industry” dialogue in Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Khadgam’, Prudhvi Raj acted in more than 100 films in a roller-coaster career spanning for over three decades.
In January, Prudhvi Raj resigned from the chairmanship of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s Sri Venkateswara Bhakti channel (SVBC), after the state government chose to show him the door following an audio leak involving his romantic talk with a woman employee of the devotional channel went viral. He was appointed the channel head after YSR Congress Party came to power in May last year.
