Lady Gaga's latest book is an attempt to encourage empathy among people

Lady Gaga's foundation is releasing a book called 'Channel Kindness: Stories of Kindness and Community'.
Lady Gaga is a popular musician and fashion icon. She is known for her social activism as much as her music. She started the Born This Way Foundation with her mother Cynthia Germanotta in 2012 to inspire the youth and thus build better communities.
The foundation is now releasing a book called Channel Kindness, a compilation of stories of kindness, bravery, and resilience from young people all over the world and some personal notes on empowerment by Lady Gaga.
“Channel Kindness is the embodiment of the everyday acts of kindness that uplift communities and instill a sense of hope in each of us,” Lady Gaga said. “If these stories inspire one act of kindness, then we’ve accomplished our mission. We can’t do it alone, and here is a book that shows we aren’t.”
Belinda Ioni Rasmussen, the publisher at Macmillan Children's Books, said: "We feel strongly that there has never been a more important time to encourage empathy through kindness, bravery and acceptance and love. This is a vital book for our times and we cannot wait to publish Channel Kindness in the UK," as reported by The Bookseller.
The book is due to release on September 22, 2020.
