FAKE ALERT: PM Modi did not laud CM Yogi for creating Hindu Rashtra, fake letter viral

A letter purportedly addressed by PM Narendra Modi to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on the recent Ram Temple bhoomi pujan in Ayodhya is doing the rounds on social media.

The letter has Modi lauding Yogi and his team for their “precious contribution to Hindu Rashtra by accomplishing the milestone in the shape of Ram Mandir”.
The letter reads, "Dear Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Let me begin congratulating you and your team for your precious contribution to the Hindu Rashtra.
Hindus will always be grateful to you and your team for your honest and steady hard work to accomplish the mile stone in the shape of Ram Mandir, which will make a new history for Hindu Rashtra. I wish you and your team the very best for your future Elections 2022 and once again congratulate you for this remarkable achievement. Thank you for the wonderful support at this cirica time and from the Prime Minister's office I am also sending 50 crore rupees for early construction of Ram temple."
The letter bears a purported signature of PM Modi and is dated August 7, 2020.

TRUTH
The letter is fake. PM Modi wrote no such letter to CM Yogi.
The Fact Check arm of PIB took to its official Twitter handle and debunked the letter.
