'Pagalpanti' Box Office Report Day 1: John Abraham-Anil Kapoor's film performs better in evening, still poor

Pagalpanti starring John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda and Urvashi Rautela in lead roles performed extremely poor in the morning. The film, however, went on to pick up by the evening shows, as expected in a report by Box Office India.

Pagalpanti still ranks poorly in the Box Office opening. The movie, which could have easily made collections like Total Dhamaal, has managed to mint only Rs. 5 crores on its opening day. The movie went on to make only 15% of Marjaavan openings till morning, which was considered very poor collections for the film.

The business of this film is low in many areas, including Mumbai which is at around 1.60 crores, Delhi / UP at 1.15 crore nett and East Punjab at 49 lakhs. The collections are lesser in Rajasthan, CP Berar and Central India, which is not even earning Rs. 30 lakhs yet.

Pagalpanti went on to beat the latest Hollywood release Frozen 2 in evening collections, but otherwise, the movie is performing poorly. The Saturday collections of Pagalpanti will go on to determine whether the John Abraham-Anil Kapoor starrer film can sustain at the Box Office for longer.
