Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kapoor join hands for animal welfare

Animal lovers Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kapoor have promised their support to the campaign 'Be Kind To All Kind', which endeavours to raise support for select NGOs dedicated to the welfare of stray animals.

As part of this, a new series, Dodo Heroes, is all set to be aired which will feature stories of animals in need and people who go to great lengths to give them hope.

Pointing out that the situation of stray animals in India is a matter of concern, Soha says, “We will all have to come together to help these lovely beings. They are surprisingly human in the way they emote, they express. In fact, I don’t pamper my dogs (she has three pets) they pamper me with unending selfless love. I enjoy each moment that I spend with them.” Kunal Kapoor feels that it’s our responsibility to stand up for all living beings, especially animals. He adds, “There are NGOs who work towards the rescue and rehabilitation of needy animals who run shelters, ambulance services, sterilisation programmes, treatment camps and disaster rescue missions. If we cannot personally go and help these animals then the least we can do is support the NGOs dedicated to animal welfare.”
