In the ongoing decider match between India and Australia - the dismissal of Aaron Finch will be talked about for a long time.

After David Warner's dismissal at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Steve Smith came in to bat. Soon he and Finch started adding runs to the scoreboard, but a silly miscommunication between the two cost the Aussies an important wicket.

In the fifth ball of the eighth over, a good length ball towards backward point, Ravindra Jadeja tried the direct hit at the striker's end.

Smith - who had called for a run - suddenly dived back and Finch, who was already at the striker's end, tried to turn at this point. However, Shreyas Iyer collects the ball at short midwicket and coolly underarms it to Mohammed Shami who whipped off the bails before Finch could make it back.

Finch was seen getting absolutely furious as he walked back to the pavilion.

Netizens soon called out Smith for being selfish and saving his wicket.
