Violence erupts during pro CAA, NPR rally led by VHP in Jharkhand’s Lohardaga
Violence erupted in Jharkhand’s Lohardaga town after a march in support of Citizenship Amendment Act and National Population Register was held on January 23. The support rally was led by Vishva Hindu Parishad. Stone pelting allegedly took place while rally passed through Amla Toli in Lohardaga. Shops, houses and trucks were set on fire. Fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flames. Section 144 has been imposed in Lohardaga town.
