Recently, in a heartbreaking post the 31-year-old, Colombian beauty queen and popular model announced that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Elizabeth Loaiza shared her news on Instagram by posting a series of photos and videos with her family. After which Loaiza’s followers showered her with positive messages to help her road to recovery.
She shared the difficult test that life has put on her when she found out that she has cancer in some tissues of her uterus, and that this unfortunate result also caused her to lose her baby.
She also has shared a video on her Instagram,explaining how she went to the doctor 15 days later for a check-up. When examining her they found a lot of extra tissue growing in her uterus and it turned out to be cancer.
Model also expressed with her fans that she may look sloppy in her pictures because, “'The pregnancy cells, even though I am no longer pregnant, continue to grow abnormally, so my body still believes that it is pregnant. Soon with the help of God and the Doctors, everything will be normal.”
In 2006, Elizabeth won the Miss Mundo Colombia (Miss World Colombia) beauty pageant. She began her modelling career at the age of four, who is now one of Colombia's most popular models with 1.9 Million followers on Instagram.
Now, after her visit with the oncologist, Loaiza has shared the details of what her treatment for the disease will be like. We wish her a speedy recovery.
