Mumbai: Among the key bulk deals in the day, Invesco India Contra Fund sold Aditya Birla Fashion Rights Entitlements, while Kedia Securities lapped up shares of Tejas Networks.
Of the frontline indices, Sensex shed 0.94 per cent or 345.51 points to close at 36,329.01, while peer Nifty dropped 0.87 per cent or 93.90 points to close at 10,705.75.

>> Invesco India Contra Fund sold 4,74,202 shares of Aditya Birla Fashion Rights Entitlement at Rs 23 each, while Ms Param Value Investments bought 5,00,000 of these Rights Entitlements.
>> Kedia Securities bought 7,53,925 shares of Tejas Networks at Rs 49.13 per share.
>> Recovery Officer I DRT II sold 7,94,192 shares of Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers at Rs 42.67 per share.
>> Dhara Technosystem bought 1,99,200 shares of Deccan Healthcare from Hitesh Mohanbhai Patel at Rs 37 per share.
>> Wealth Capital Advisors sold 48,000 shares of ICL Organic Dairy Products at Rs 22.50 per share, while Giriraj Financial Services bought 72,000 shares in the company at Rs 22.48 per share.
>> Promoter Agnus Holdings bought 18,68,256 shares of Sequent Scientific from co-promoter Pronomz Ventures at Rs 93.60 per share. At the end of March quarter, Agnus Holdings held 0.52 per cent stake in the company, while Pronomz Ventures held a 10.87 per cent stake.
>> Vora Pranav Prafulchandra bought 66,000 shares of Globe Textiles at Rs 45.25 per share.
>> Companies such as Equitas Holdings, GIC Housing Finance, NCC and RBL Bank also witnessed bulk deals in the day.
