Share market update: Godrej Properties, NIIT Tech among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 15.75 points down at 26658.28 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Oswal Agro Mills (up 19.35 per cent), Prakash Woollen (up 18.88 per cent), Gennex Labs (up 18.79 per cent), Xpro India (up 18.73 per cent), Sundaram Brake (up 18.15 per cent), Basant Agro Tech (up 17.51 per cent), PBM Polytex (up 17.10 per cent), Indraprastha (up 15.73 per cent), Metropolis Healthcare (up 15.15 per cent), KMC Speciality (up 15.09 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 13 per cent) and NIIT Tech (up 9.40 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 15.20 points up at 7816.25. Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 27 shares were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.
