    Wipro’s head of internal transformation Sharada Nandakumar quits

    BENGALURU: Sharada Nandakumar, a vice president who was heading internal transformation at Wipro, has resigned, sources told ET.

    Nandakumar, a Wipro long-timer who led the telecom vertical in her previous roles for the Bengaluru-headquartred tech services major, was reporting to president and chief operating officer Bhanumurthy B M.

    She was spearheading the large enterprise-wide digital transformation programme at Wipro. The programme encompasses transformation of processes, technology and operations across various functional tracks of Sales, Finance, Delivery, HR and Talent Supply Chain.

    This is one of the largest transformation initiatives for the tech services major in recent times.

    She was responsible for successful execution, implementation and rollout of enterprise-wide CRM and SAP (S4/ HANA) implementation, vendor management, partner management, change and benefit management.

    Nandakumar, a veteran in the tech services industry, was also looking into implementation of relevant digital technology-led initiatives and automations frameworks.

    Wipro has confirmed her resignation.

    Kumudha Sridharan, senior vice president and co-head of Global Delivery Enablement, who reports to Bhanumurthy, is driving internal transformation projects effective January, said a Wipro spokesperson. "Separately, Nandakumar moved out of the organisation in January and we wish her all success,” said the Wipro spokesperson.
