NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 975.00 points up at 29510.78 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Titan Securities (down 19.63 per cent), Surana Telecom (down 18.32 per cent), Fortis Malar (down 16.39 per cent), APM Finvest Ltd. (down 15.67 per cent), Lloyds Metals (down 14.36 per cent), Pro Fin Capital Services (down 13.83 per cent), Aarvee Denims (down 12.38 per cent), Zenith Fibres (down 11.94 per cent), Sundaram Brake (down 11.38 per cent) and Prime Sec (down 11.09 per cent), Future Lifestyle Fashions (down 5 per cent) and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (down 5 per cent) were among the top losers.
In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks were in the green, while 15 stocks were in the red. The Nifty index was trading 248.10 points up at 8565.95.
