PTINEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was 189.50 points down at 29,757.27 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Inflame Appliances (down 20.00 per cent), Kwality Pharmaceuticals (down 19.91 per cent), Sprayking Agro Equipment (down 19.70 per cent), Prakash Woollen & S (down 19.53 per cent), White Organic Retail (down 19.00 per cent), KMS (down 18.42 per cent), Lotus Eye Hosp (down 17.60 per cent), Dhunseri Tea & Industries (down 17.19 per cent), Indag Rubber (down 16.50 per cent), Joindre Capital (down 16.13 per cent), Bharat Forge (down 6.76 per cent) and HCL Tech (down 6 per cent) were among the top losers.
In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks were in the green, while 26 stocks were in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 17.30 points up at 8658.75 .
