Share market update: Infrastructure shares mixed; Reliance Power climbs 3%

NEW DELHI: Infrastructure shares were trading on a mixed note on Wednesday's afternoon session.

Shares of NCC (up 4.34 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (up 3.43 per cent), Reliance Power (up 2.99 per cent), CESC (up 2.35 per cent) and Reliance Infrastructure (up 1.93 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While CG Power & Industrial Solutions (down 2.94 per cent), Vodafone Idea (down 2.89 per cent), Suzlon Energy (down 2.2 per cent), Tata Power Company (down 1.51 per cent) and Adani Power (down 1.39 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 0.34 per cent up at 3178.35 around 01:19PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 33.05 points at 11128.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 89.44 points at 37777.35.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SAIL, SBI and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
