    NEW DELHI: Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 62.50 points, or 0.51 per cent, lower at 12,210, indicating a negative start for Dalal Street. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

    ICICI Pru Life, HDFC AMC and ZEEL: ICICI Prudential Life, HDFC Asset Management, ZEEL, Havells India, IndiaMart InterMesh, Granules India, Snowman Logistics, Polycab, Repro India and Tejas Networks will be among companies which are scheduled to announce their quarterly earnings today.

    Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea: Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have moved the Supreme Court in a bid to delay payments that are due Thursday. Tata Teleservices has also done so, said people with knowledge of the matter. The operators want to be allowed to negotiate conditions and schedules for payment of statutory dues with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), according to their petitions.

    Power Grid Corp: The company has decided to launch an Infrastructure Investment Trust (InViT) through which India’s central transmission utility proposes to raise from the public about ₹10,000 crore by listing specific units backed by a pool of assets.

    Oil India: DoT has slapped a Rs 48,000 crore demand notice on Oil India in past statutory AGR dues, an order which the country’s second-biggest state oil producer plans to challenge in TDSAT.

    NBCC: State-owned firm NBCC Ltd has bagged a Rs 720-crore contract from Central Coalfield Ltd (CCL) to manage construction of township project in Jharkhand.

    IOC: IOC has agreed to an annual deal to buy 2 million tonnes of Russian crude oil, a first for any Indian refiner that would help diversify supply sources and cut India’s dependence on West Asia.

    Unitech: Realty firm Hiranandani group's MD Niranjan Hiranandani, who has been appointed as one of the board members to find resolution for Unitech, said the construction on projects that are networth positive could start early while a help could be sought from the government's Rs 25,000-crore stress fund to complete other stalled residential properties.

    Just Dial: Digital directory firm Just Dial posted a 5.8 per cent increase in consolidated profit at Rs 60.68 crore for the third quarter ended December 2019.

    Bank of Maharashtra: State-run Bank of Maharashtra reported a net profit of Rs 135 crore in the quarter ended December against a net loss of Rs 3,764 crore in the year-ago period.

    Srei Infrastructure Finance: Srei Infra said it plans to raise up to Rs 2,000 crore via NCDs and another Rs 1,000 crore in commercial papers in fiscal 2020-21.

    Hindustan Zinc: The company posted a 26.7 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 1,620 crore for the December 2019 quarter.

    HFCL: Domestic telecom gear maker HFCL on Monday posted a consolidated profit of Rs 45.34 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2019. The company had posted a profit of Rs 69.1 crore in the same period a year ago.

    NMDC: Iron ore miner NMDC on Monday announced hike of up to Rs 400 per tonne in the prices of lump ore and fines, marking the second increase in rates within a month. NMDC has increased the price of high-grade iron ore (lumps) by Rs 400 to Rs 3,200 per tonne, the miner informed the BSE.

    Welspun Corp: Leading line-pipe maker Welspun Corp is likely to declare a special dividend before March with the Rs 250 crore it received from its US unit.
