    NEW DELHI: Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 78.50 points, or 0.64 per cent, lower at 12,194, indicating a gap down start for Dalal Street. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

    HDFC, DRL and United Spirits: HDFC, Dr Reddy's Laboratories (DRL), United Spirits, InterGlobe Aviation, PTC India Financial Services, Wockhardt, Torrent Pharma and TTK Prestige are some of the companies which will report their December quarter earnings today.

    ICICI Bank: The private lender reported an over two-fold rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 4,670 crore for the December quarter, helped largely by the Essar Steel recovery and a jump in its core income.

    Cipla: Pharmaceutical firm Cipla said the US Food and Drug Administration has completed inspection of its Bengaluru-based manufacturing unit with four observations.

    NTPC: State-run power giant NTPC is unlikely to conclude its about Rs 10,000-crore acquisition deal to buy government's stake in THDC India and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation, according to a source.

    Siemens: The company has entered into definitive agreements for the acquisition of 99.22 per cent of the paid-up equity share capital of C&S Electric from its promoters for around Rs 2,100 crore.

    Vodafone Idea: India Ratings and Research downgraded the rating of Rs 3,500 crore non-convertible debentures of Vodafone Idea on account of liabilities related to adjusted gross revenue dues. CRISIL has also downgraded Vodafone Idea's NCD rating.

    Bajaj Auto: The two-wheeler maker and iconic British motorcycle brand Triumph formally commenced their non-equity global partnership to manufacture a new range of mid-capacity motorcycles in the country.

    Biocon: The drug maker is expected to raise $200 million for its biologics subsidiary in next few months and list it on capital markets in about two years, chairman Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw said.

    DCB Bank: Private sector lender DCB Bank on Saturday reported an increase of 12.31 per cent in its net profit at Rs 96.70 crore for the third quarter ended December 2019.

    Bank of Baroda: State-run Bank of Baroda (BoB) on Friday reported a net loss of Rs 1,407 crore for the quarter ended December on account of higher provisioning for bad loans. The bank had reported profit after tax of Rs 436 crore in the same period last year.

    NHPC: State-run hydro power giant NHPC has emerged as the successful bidder for insolvency-bound Jal Power Corporation's 120MW Rangit project in Sikkim with a bid of Rs 165 crore.

    Power Grid: State-run transmission utility Power Grid Corporation said it has filed an application before Supreme Court against Department of Telecom's demand of around Rs 22,000 crore in past dues, saying its revenue from telecom business was only 2 per cent of its turnover.

    JSW Steel:The company reported a 88 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 187 crore for the December 2019 quarter, mainly due to lower net sales realisation that pulled down the revenues.

    Mindtree: Themid-tier IT services provider may have brought on board new leaders to change the core components of its business to become a larger entity, but analysts say more needs to be done to bring in sustainable growth despite rising profits.

    TVS Motor: The company is working on a strategy to develop a portfolio of electric products, top executives at the two-wheeler company said

    Indiabulls Housing Finance: Credit Suisse (Singapore) picked up Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd shares worth over Rs 72 crore through an open market transaction. As per the bulk deal data on NSE, 22,36,394 shares, representing 0.52 per cent of the total shares of Indiabulls Housing Finance, were bought by Credit Suisse.

    Reliance Industries: The company's partnership with Saudi Aramco for its $75 billion oil-to-chemicals business signals expansion rather than retreat as growth opportunities are expected to boost the petrochemical and refining vertical, market analyst firm Bernstein said.

    ITI: Public sector electronics and telecom gear maker ITI Limited plans around Rs 150 crore investment to scale up its solar panel manufacturing capacity to 90 MW in the next fiscal, a top company official said.

    TVS Motor: The company said it has forayed into electric segment with the launch of an e-scooter, priced at Rs 1.15 lakh. Equipped with 4.4 kw electric motor, the TVS iQube Electric can achieve a top speed of 78 kmph with a range of 75 kms in one full charge.

    Muthoot Capital Services: The company reported a decline of 22.77 per cent in standalone net profit at Rs 18.95 crore for the third quarter ended December 2019.

    Force Motors: The market leader in inter-city commuter vans has lined up Rs 600 crore in fresh investment to develop two new models over the next two years.
