    NEW DELHI: Shares of Petronet LNG Ltd. traded 2.11 per cent down in Wednesday's trade at 11:00AM (IST). Around 57,307 shares changed hands on the counter.

    The counter opened at Rs 260.8 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 260.8 and Rs 252.55, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Petronet LNG Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 302.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 170.75.

    India’s largest natural gas importer, said its business has quickly recovered from the lockdown lows and both its regasification terminals are operating at their highest rate.

    Key Financials
    The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 8567.15 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, down 3.85 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 8910.23 crore and down 2.19 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 8383.2 crore.

    The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 373.2 crore, down 19.81 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

    Shareholding pattern
    As of 31-Mar-2020, domestic institutional investors held 7.77 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 29.31 per cent and the promoters 50.0 per cent.


    Valuation ratio
    According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 14.09 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.42. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
