“We reviewed the current political situation in the state. We are clear that this government has to go and we would work in that direction. However we are not moving a no-confidence motion,” Poonia told ET, while insisting chief minister Ashok Gehlot should prove majority on the floor of the House before expanding his ministry.
The BJP leaders are in touch with its central leadership. “BJP always welcomes leaders who have a mass base,” Union minister Gajendra Singh Sekhawat told journalists in Delhi, indicating the direction in which Pilot was headed. Rajasthan BJP will hold another meeting on Wednesday, which former CM Vasundhara Raje is expected to attend.
