BENGALURU: WarmOven, a delivery-only fresh cakes and desserts brand, has raised an undisclosed amount as part of its first investment round led by serial entrepreneur Jyoti Bansal. Angel investors, including Anuj Srivastava, cofounder of Livspace; Abhishek Goyal, founder of Tracxn; Nitin Gupta, former CEO of Ola Financial Services; as well as Harpreet Grover and Vibhore Goyal, cofounders of CoCubes, also participated in the round.
WarmOven is run by Kouzina Food Tech, founded by Gautam Balijepalli, along with Mahesh Madiyala, Sumit Gupta and Rohan Rao.
It operates multiple cloud kitchens across Bengaluru. “As the industry goes through a cycle of disruption powered by digitisation and delivery, there is a tremendous opportunity to create pan-India brands in multiple categories now,” said Balijepalli, CEO, WarmOven.
