    As outsourcing increases, Indian IT looks at hiring over 100,000 people this year

    While most clients have been undertaking some sort of digital transformation initiatives over the last few years, the pandemic has accelerated that process.

    After a weak first quarter when companies froze hiring, IT companies have resumed hiring and honouring offers made to college graduates. Most IT companies have reported an increase in deal volumes and a healthy deal pipeline, even as they have cautioned that the time taken to close deals has lengthened in the current Covid-19 environment.
