2021 KTM RC 390 spy shots reveal drastic transition
NEW DELHI: The KTM RC 390 had not been upgraded for quite some time but with the new Euro5 update, it seems like the automaker is finally ready to bring in some changes.
The KTM RC 390 is currently in the testing stage at the automaker’s Mattighofen facility in Austria. The new spy shots from the testing track reveal a much mature transition from its predecessor.

The 2021 KTM RC 390 now sports a much smoother front-end unlike the previous pointy headlamp featured by the old model.
The new KTM RC 390 seems to have borrowed the LED headlamps from the KTM Duke 390 and the KTM Duke 390 Adventure.

The new KTM RC 390 also sports a wider windshield. The rest of the front-end of the motorcycle appears similar to the outgoing model. However, the 2021 RC 390 seems to have a much more aerodynamic structure compared to its older version.

With a much-bulked up rear, the new RC 390 will definitely offer better ergonomics than the outgoing model. The RC 390 also sports a completely new rear-panel with an upgraded taillamp.

Another noticeable change in the motorcycle is the much-larger disc brake in the front. With a larger diameter, the automaker seems to be offering much better safety with this high-performance motorcycle.
Although the 2021 RC 390 will feature a new single-cylinder Euro5 compliant engine, the performance specs are likely to remain the same.
