Ahmedabad: Impostor ID of woman made, nudes posted

AHMEDABAD: A 21-year-old woman from the Bapunagar area of the city lodged an FIR with cyber cell alleging that an unidentified person had created a fake Instagram account in her name. The accused then tagged her and posted photos that which she had posted from her own account. The accused also posted some pictures of nude women.
While an application over this matter was submitted on October 2019, an FIR was lodged on Friday.
According to the FIR, the girl works for a private company and has been using Instagram for two years. “In December 2019, when she was at the office, at about noon she received a notification of somebody tagging her. When she checked, she found that the Instagram account resembled hers and had photos that she had posted besides nude pictures of women,” an investigator said.
