People now are wary of stepping out and
dining in at
restaurants. This has led to increase in
deliveries and takeaway orders.
Shahaan Davierwala, owner and head chef, Cream ‘N' Crust from Surat shares how deliveries have their own problems. He shares, “There are quite a few issues with the delivery industry as well. We have had to increase the number of safety check points when we are sending out something for a delivery.
The expenditure for deliveries have gone up, so while deliveries are a boon they are proving to be slightly problematic too. That said, the takeaway business is doing very well. We are keeping in mind all the safety measures for takeaways and the customers are being careful now.”
