AMARAVATI: TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh dared his political opponents to prove the charges of illegal assets owned by his family, adding that if the charges are proved his family would return all such assets to them as gift. Lokesh, who declared his family's assets on Thursday, said they have been following this practice for the past nine years. "Instead of depending on ED, CBI and I-T to declare his assets, Jagan should himself reveal his assets," Lokesh said.

Lokesh said net assets of his father, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, grew by Rs 87 lakh in last one year (from 3 crore to 3.87 crore). Though Naidu's total assets were around 9 crore, he had debts to the tune of 5.13 crore, leaving his net assets at 3.87 crore. "My mother Bhuvaneswari's net assets decreased in last 12 months. My assets have also decreased to 19 crore from 21 crore, while (wife) Brahmani's net assets increased from 7 crore to 11.5 crore. My son Devansh's net assets have grown by 1 crore to 19 crore. My family-owned investment firm Nirvana's net assets have increased from 6.8 crore to 9 crore," said Lokesh.
