Online movie: Kannada film producer files complaint
A Kannada film producer alleged that six miscreants have uploaded his movie at various online streaming platforms and it caused him financial loss.

BENGALURU: A Kannada film producer alleged that six miscreants have uploaded his movie at various online streaming platforms and it caused him financial loss.
On Tuesday, Narasimhamurthy KN, 35, a resident of Mallathahalli, filed a complaint with west CEN Crime police against six persons.
He had produced Mumtaz, a Kannada movie, which was released in 2015. But he did not sell the rights of telecasting the film to anyone.Nonetheless, the movie is available online.
“The film was being streamed on at least six online platforms. We’ve taken up a case and investigating,” a police officer said.
