CHANDIGARH: The
Haryana government will on Monday come out with a detailed plan on relaxations during the fourth phase of the lockdown. Officials held a meeting that went on till midnight on Sunday to prepare directives based on the Centre’s guidelines.
“Tomorrow (Monday), we’ll decide the guidelines for the next phase of lockdown. They will be based on what we discussed at the meeting on Sunday,” said Rajeev Arora, additional chief secretary (health).
Soon after the Centre had declared its latest guidelines, cabinet secretary Rajiv Gauba held a video conference with chief secretaries of the states around 9pm on Sunday.
The officials were still huddled in the meeting when the report was being filed. Sources said Haryana was most likely to follow the Centre’s guidelines. The state so far has recorded 910 Covid cases.
The Centre’s guidelines give states the authority to decide the relaxations for red, orange and green zones. Within the red and orange zones, containment and buffer areas will be demarcated by the district authorities. Inter-state movement of commercial vehicles and buses has been allowed between 7am and 7pm with consent of states.
