Coronavirus in Chennai: When Superman wore a mask

CHENNAI: ‘Superman’ and ‘Batman’ visited various locations of Thiru Vi Ka Nagar in Chennai on Saturday to create awareness on wearing masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
For the last one month, the Greater Chennai Corporation has been running a social media campaign with superheroes to persuade people to wear masks for a month now. People were told to #wearamask and #beasuperhero.
On Saturday, the campaign was taken to the field where people were informed how important it was to wear masks and how it could save not just them but their near and dear ones also.
Two men dressed up like Superman and Batman as part of the campaign. Both wore masks.
