Coimbatore SP asks people to inform police about those who possess unlicensed guns

COIMBATORE: Coimbatore district superintendent of police Ara Arularasu on Friday requested people to inform the police control room about those who possess guns and bullets illegally. The control room number is 77081 00100.
The district police received information that some people possessed unlicensed guns and bullets for poaching wild animals. “It is a punishable offence,” the SP said.
The SP also said those who possess illegal weapons should come forward to hand them over to the police.They can keep their weapons in a particular place and inform the police control room. A team of police will reach the spot and collect the weapons.
