Tax commissioner commits suicide in Delhi

A principal tax commissioner, Keshav Saxena (57), posted at the income tax office has committed suicide at his residence in Bapu Dham, Chanakyapuri. He was found hanging in his bedroom using a bedsheet. A suicide note has been found in his room. Police are examining the suicide note whether he was suffering from depression over some professional issues.

NEW DELHI: A principal tax commissioner posted at the income tax office has committed suicide at his residence in Bapu Dham, Chanakyapuri. He was found hanging in his bedroom using a bed sheet. A suicide note has been found from his room.
The man Keshav Saxena (57) was found hanging in his room by his wife around 7am. He was rushed to Primus Hospital in Chanakyapuri where he was declared dead on arrival.
The police were informed by the hospital authorities.
Saxena, a 1988 batch IRS officer was posted at the income tax office in ITO. Police are examining the suicide note whether he was suffering from a depression over some professional issues.
