Ggn reports 43 new cases, Fbd sees 170

Gurgaon: The district reported 43 fresh cases of Covid-19 and 100 recoveries on Monday. With this, the tally of cases has now increased to 9,288 in the district. As the tally of recovered patients reached 8,338, the number of active patients is only 826. The district prepared and released the data early on Monday.
A total of 643 patients are currently in home isolation.Moreover, 25,661 people are currently under surveillance in the district. However, only 707 samples were sent for testing on Monday. Dr Jai Prakash, district surveillance officer, said, “We had organised rapid antigen testing at five places and RT-PCR testing was also done. However, less people came for testing on Monday as it was a festival.”
In Faridabad, 170 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported on Monday, taking the total number of cases to 9,171. The Covid-19 toll has now reached 133 in the district.
Meanwhile, Haryana reported 654 new Covid-19 cases on Monday and the tally of Covid cases in Haryana has now reached 37,173. Moreover, seven more deaths were reported in Haryana on Monday, taking the toll to 440.
Of 440, 272 patients died of co-morbidity. With 780 patients recovering in Haryana on Monday, active cases in the state now stand at 6,263.
