Man pruning tree falls on grille, dies

A 37-year-old gardener died after falling from a pillar while pruning a tree in Friends Colony on Sunday. Sanoj Trivedi, a native of Muzaffarnagar, was residing in a rented house in Silokhera village with his father for the past five years. He was working as a gardener in Friends Colony and was employed by Harbhagwan Arora around three years ago.

GURUGRAM: A 37-year-old gardener died after falling from a pillar while pruning a tree in Friends Colony on Sunday.
Sanoj Trivedi, a native of Muzaffarnagar, was residing in a rented house in Silokhera village with his father for the past five years. He was working as a gardener in Friends Colony and was employed by Harbhagwan Arora around three years ago.
On Sunday, Arora asked Trivedi to prune a tree as its branches had spread to the first-floor balcony.
Trivedi climbed a pillar and started pruning the tree. He lost balance and fell on the boundary wall grille that pierced into his body. He was rushed to civil hospital in Sector 10 from where he was referred to Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
An FIR was registered at Civil Lines police station against Arora under Section 304A of the IPC on Monday.
