HYDERABAD: The heavy rains threw traffic out of gear at a few places in the city, as the streets were flooded. Several commuters were stuck in traffic for hours due to waterlogging.
Traffic movement was slow on the stretch from Gachibowli towards Tolichowki due to the heavy rain, while traffic cops were deployed to regulate the traffic.
According to traffic police, in Madhapur police station stretch and 100 Feet road, traffic has been moving slowly due to heavy waterlogging.

Several commuters took it to social media sharing videos of vehicles floating on the road due to the heavy rain.
"There was waterlogging due to heavy rain at various junctions in Bahadurpura, Malakpet, Panjagutta, Goshmahal, Mirchowk, Sultan Bazar and Saifabad. The traffic cops deployed are helping in clearing the waterlogging," said a traffic cop.
Traffic Police team at Tolichowki near Reliance Digital, Shaikpet road were struggling to open the manhole caps to drain out the rainwater to clear the waterlogging due to rain.
