HYDERABAD: BJP's Telangana chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday accused the TRS regime in the state of stopping people from celebrating Vinayaka Chaturthi by citing the rise in the number of Covid-19 cases.
In a meeting with state-level office bearers he said that “CM KCR has a conspiracy against Hindus, he is trying to show big numbers." Coming down heavily on the chief minister, he said that KCR had made many promises to people but never fulfilled them.

Demanding that 10 per cent reservations be implemented for the STs in the state, he said that the state should implement 10 per cent reservations for economically weaker sections too.
Interacting with the leaders he said that all the leaders from booth level to national level must follow discipline in the party. “If anyone violates the rules, action will be taken against them,” he said. Later, interacting with the media, he said, the CM will face jail for corruption. “The state government is telling lies about the central teams’ visit to the state on implementation of programs,” he said.
