Youth ends life after losing Rs 4 lakh on betting in Telangana
An engineering student committed suicide at Kakatiya canal in Karimnagar allegedly after losing around Rs 4 lakh on cricket betting on Thursday night.

HYDERABAD: An engineering student committed suicide at Kakatiya canal in Karimnagar allegedly after losing around Rs 4 lakh on cricket betting on Thursday night.
The LMD police of Karimnagar commissionerate said that B Niteesh (22) who went missing on Thursday evening, was found drowned in Kakatiya canal on Friday morning.
At around 7.30pm on Thursday, the police found an abandoned two-wheeler near the canal.With the help of the vehicles’s registration number, the police traced the deceased’s kin. Suspecting that Niteesh might have committed suicide, the family members rushed to the canal.
The body was found by local fishermen on Friday morning.
